PLAN YOUR VISIT TO THE FRONT MARKET.
The Front Market’s SPRING 2025 Season is held rain or shine on May 3 and 4 from 11 AM to 5 PM CT each day at distribution hall, located at 1500 E 4th St, Austin 78702. Scroll for more details.
ABOUT OUR SPRING 2025 SEASON VENUE
This season, The Front Market returns to our official Spring venue, Distribution Hall. Learn more about this historic space here.
WHERE TO PARK
There is ample street parking around Distribution Hall - both free and metered. Free parking can be found along 3rd St., 2nd St., and Comal St. Available paid and free parking lots include:
PMC Parking Lot (1413 ½ E 4th St., Austin, TX 78702) — The empty lot south west of Distribution hall (40 spots) is owned by Habitat for Humanity and is managed by PMC. Public parking fluctuates from $5 per hour to $16 per day.
Foundry I Parking Garage (1501 E 4th St., Austin, TX 78702) — The Foundry I parking (180 spots) faces the south side of Distribution Hall. Cars enter around the corner on Onion St., and the entrance on foot is at 310 Comal St. Public parking is a flat rate of $10.
Foundry II Parking Garage (1610 E 4th St, Austin, TX 78702) — The Foundry II parking (380 spots) is one block east of Distribution Hall at 1610 E 4th St. The pedestrian entrance is at 1600 E 4th St (facing Comal St.). Public parking is a flat rate of $10.
Plaza Saltillo Station — 12 parking spots for Plaza Saltillo on Onion Street face the north side of Distribution Hall and are free and open to the public! Directly behind the venue, they can be accessed from an unmarked one way street off Comal St.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE
When you arrive at the market, you'll have plenty of vendors to meet, plus a chance to browse our curated food court. DJ sets, workshops and live art installations will rotate each day, too. The full daily lineup is at thefrontmarket.com.
WHAT TO EAT/DRINK
Bring a water bottle! Water fountains will be onsite with complimentary sparkling and still options throughout the event, with a Good Cocktails Bar supplied by Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Daily menus will rotate from guest chefs and homegrown food concepts based in Austin, too. Here’s what you can expect each day:

If you can't find something from our vendors, though, there plenty of restaurants and businesses within walking distance.

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY NOTES + GUIDELINES —
All Future Front staff, volunteers and guests will be required to practice mutual respect, as well as demonstrate an alignment with Future Front’s guidelines and values: futurefronttexas.org/values.
All Future Front sessions are currently held online, outdoors or in open-air spaces where quality air flow is possible, ADA compliance is prioritized and assisted mobility devices can be utilized.
All Future Front sessions follow capacity limits to reduce crowding of any kind.
At Future Front events, all guests are expected to follow Austin-local health and safety guidelines for gatherings, as well as practice consideration with the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and any other legal, mind-altering substances.
Tobacco use and electronic smoking device use are not permitted at any time within Future Front properties and event spaces at least 15 ft from entrances, exits, operational windows, or ventilation system intake vents.
Littering of tobacco-related products on the grounds or parking lots is also prohibited.

BEHIND FUTURE FRONT
Homegrown in Austin, Future Front is an award-winning cultural space and public exhibition series—with women and LGBTQ+ creatives at the front.
As a 501c3 arts and culture nonprofit, we produce two annual community-led exhibitions, The Front Market and The Front Festival, platforming independent artists and creatives across disciplines in Texas. Beyond our flagship exhibitions, we host seasonal shows and workshops at our creative space in East Austin, welcoming 20,000+ visitors per year.
Through these programs and a diverse network of partnerships, we invite the public (including you) to dream of a future where local art and creativity thrive in Texas—where we see ourselves and our cultures reflected in our communities.
